Today, Huawei launched MatePad C5e tablet in the global market which comes with moderate specs but maximized user experience. However, we want to mention that this device is built for businesses but will be available for all.

Talking about its business perspective, the Huawei MatePad C5e launched with a customized home screen and exclusive startup animation. It has custom APN access point settings to access the intranet. On the other hand, it enables the installation of client-specific software only.
Furthermore, there is constant background running of client apps. While it also comes with the ability to disable key features such as WiFi, Bluetooth, camera, USB port, and more to safe keep the tablet from unauthorized connections. The tablet features EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10. It has a single rear camera of 5MP and a 2MP camera on the front side. There’s a 5100mAh battery that could recharge with 10W charger.

According to the information, Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 in China is launched at 1299 yuan for the 4GB version and 1499 yuan for the 6GB version. While there is a 100 yuan instant discount on current purchase orders. While this device is available exclusively on Huawei’s official e-commerce website – Vmall.
Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 comes with a 10.4-inch screen with an 83.6% screen-to-body ratio, 2000 x 1200 pixels resolution, 225 PPI, 16.7 million colors, and an LCD screen panel.
On the other hand, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone comes with a pre-installed HarmonyOS 3 operating system with the latest features.

The pricing reveals that the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 1499 yuan for the WiFi version. While the tablet’s LTE version is priced at 1699 yuan.

Huawei is rolling out HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 software update for two tablets – MatePad 11 and MatePad Pro 10.8. This update comes with new improvements for these large-screen devices.
Huawei is rolling out HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 for MatePad 11, upgrading from HarmonyOS 3.0.0.190/163. While on the other hand, Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 is getting HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 upgrading from HarmonyOS 3.0.0.163. Below you can check the eligible tablet models to get a new software update.

According to the changelog, Huawei is adding a feature that supports two pairs of Bluetooth earphones simultaneously to allow people to listen to songs together.
This new firmware adds support for the PC mobile engine, which would enable to use of the PC version of the WPS office on a tablet. Furthermore, Huawei is installing the latest security patch for these two tablets with January 2023 HarmonyOS security update.
