Last year, Huawei launched FreeBuds Pro 2 with high-resolution audio and it seems like the new FreeBuds Pro 2+ will come with amazing heart rate measurement technology.

According to the leak coming from a tipster, Huawei has new earphone pair, FreeBuds Pro 2+, which will feature a heart rate measurement feature. It will be the first time, that Huawei will use such a capability in earphones.

The screenshot leaked of the device reveals that Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ can measure real-time heart rate, while the user will have to wear them in their ears. The feature is supported by options such as high heart rate reminder, low heart reminder, and high precision heart rate mode.

Last week, we reported heart rate monitoring technology in earbuds and now, it’s about to come into reality.

From the exposure, we can’t understand the sensor details or its placement to measure the heart rate but the accuracy could be different than a smartwatch.

The changelog notes that the latest build for this smartwatch brings new optimizations for Bluetooth connection stability, which is important to improve connection stability. On the flip side, this new software will get your Huawei Watch Fit new system stability for better smartwatch performance.

Huawei P60 series is approaching our way and there’s a massive leak just appeared about the front design of this upcoming flagship and revealed some of the shocking details. The latest leak is coming from a toy shop and the toy maker has been selling Huawei P60. The spy shot shows the phone inside a toy holder and there are multiple of those models spotted.

Although, it is not a super clear view but there are some details that we can explore.

According to the image, the Huawei P60 series front design brings big bezels on all corners of the phone, especially on the top and the bottom. On the bottom side, Huawei P60 will get you a physical button, which could be used to return back to the home screen.

Looking sideways, the Huawei P60 phone also has a power key but there’s no volume rocker. Interestingly, Huawei P60 comes with pink wallpaper and it’ll enable options once you boot up the phone.

Huawei P60 series will have two versions  – black and white. However, there could be more models waiting for us. It’s quite an outdated and shocking design but it’s something new that Huawei is doing with the P60 series and its proof of that happening.

Despite a long-standing issue with its changelog, Google keeps on sending new and multiple Play Store versions to Android users including the 34.0.13, which recently began to release.

Google Play Store 34.0.13 is currently in the expansion stage for Android devices and it may take some to reach all of the users.

Purchase approval:

Earlier this week, Google added a new parent control feature to Play Store that will allow parents to add purchase approval for their children.

According to the information, the feature will allow children to send a purchase request for the family manager account to approve it. Similar to app notification and the parent could then choose whether to approve it or not.

The approval covers paid apps and in-app purchases. Once received, the family manager could tap on the notification to process the payment request. The payment could be made through on-screen payment options as well as Google Play gift cards. In addition, you can check all of the histories in the section.

Google Play Store

Real users and bots:

There is input that Google is working on a new way for developers to provide important information to users to detect whether it is run by a bot or a human.

Mishaal Rahman said that Google Play will execute this task by releasing a signal that helps to detect between “likely genuine” and likely non-genuine” traffic based on the presence and volume of Google Play Store activity.

We can simply call it an automated AI based approach to detect activity based on the usage data of a regular Play Store user. However, there’s no official information available from Google on this matter.

Changelog:

There was a change that recently appeared on the Play Store web version, such as the disappearance of the changelog of listed apps.

However, the changelogs are back in their place, as if they were never removed.

2023 has brought us a lot of expectations from Huawei and EMUI 13 is one of them but January has just extended the wait for its arrival and not anything else.

Why are we saying this? Because Huawei has not yet revealed the secret EMUI 13 rollout roadmap, which usually appears in December of each year. This is quite awaited for old Huawei phone users, who want to get this new upgrade.

Still, we don’t have the slightest clue of what Huawei wants to give to its global smartphone users, and actually, the question is “When?”. Meanwhile, Huawei is still running EMUI 12 on smartphones, which was released in 2021.

HarmonyOS 3:

Amid this extended wait for EMUI 13, Huawei is seamlessly conducting HarmonyOS 3 installation in China. The tech maker has already completed installation on old smartphones with a rapid effect.

As of now, there are over 50 Huawei phones already received HarmonyOS 3 operating system in the homeland. While the company keeps on testing this update via beta activity.

It’s good to see that Huawei is providing the latest software build to device users but global smartphones deserve such attention and better treatment.

Others:

If we look at other smartphone makers, despite running on the latest Android beta software,  these companies have already delivered new Android-based software for flagship devices through the OTA method. On the flip side, Huawei flagships are still operating on EMUI 12.

Why it matters?

Because EMUI 13 is currently limited to Huawei Mate 50 Pro and the listed details reveal that EMUI 13 brings a lot of new features to the table. For instance, the large folders now have more functionality such as new layout options. Furthermore, there are improvements to the performance.

Looking at some details, EMUI 13 will debut service widgets for global users, which was available since HarmonyOS 2 release. This EMUI version will also focus on the security and privacy sector of the smartphone.
