According to the information coming from Weibo tipster Classmateguan, Huawei Nova 11 has started testing with a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ chipset.

According to the image, Huawei Nova 11 Pro could adopt a new pill shape hole punch design placed on the center head of the smartphone. As for now, Huawei has not used such a display design in smartphones.

This design went popular after it was originated in iPhone 14 series and later introduced in various Chinese devices. The wide punch hole is likely to use a dual camera system, one for selfies and another for the depth of field. Also, it could be utilized in the Pro model rather than the standard.

The phone is using flagship Snapdragon 8+ fully unlocked at high frequency, which could contribute to power consumption. Compared to this, Huawei Nova 10 series went on with Snapdragon 778 for Pro and non-Pro variants.

Furthermore, the camera desing has been rearranged, there is a large ring placed on the top, consisting of a main camera. It was followed by two cameras vertically including a periscope camera. To be mentioned, the camera design is cylindrical similar to the Nova 10 lineup.

According to the changelog, the latest firmware update comes with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.170. The update package size is 217 megabytes. However the software update is rolling out in batches and it should be downloaded immediately, as it appears.

This last EMUI update of 2022 for Huawei Nova 5T comes amid the wait of EMUI 13. Yes, even after three months of listing, Huawei has not published any updates on this upcoming EMUI version.

Huawei Nova 5T users can download this update via Settings > System & updates, followed by Software updates and then CHECK FOR UPDATES. You will have to wait for a few minutes until the phone connects to the server and fetch the update.

Jane Wong shared input on this upcoming feature and revealed that the encryption section will incorporate encrypted DMs. Jane also posted an image of how the feature would look like.

According to the image, Twitter will add the encryption section to the conversation info page. To start an encrypted conversation, you need to tap on the blue text “Send an encrypted message”.

The feature description reads “You can send encrypted messages to people who’ve already sent you a Direct Message, with an updated version of the Twitter app.”.

Encrypted Messages:

With end-to-end encrypted DMs, your messages, photos, and videos are secured from falling into the wrong hands. End-to-end encryption ensures only you and the person you’re communicating with can read your message, and nobody in between, not even Twitter will be able to access them.

The feature was in work a long ago but Twitter management stopped developing encrypted DMs. In November, Elon Musk confirmed to bring back encrypted DMs and the feature is under preparations for public launch. Currently, we don’t have any input on an exact launch date for Twitter’s encrypted DMs.
