Huawei has finally launched Watch 3 series, which comes in two models – Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro. These smartwatches are the first in their category to run HarmonyOS and designed to deliver a whole new user experience on consumers’ wrists.

“The brand-new Huawei Watch 3 Series is powered by HarmonyOS 2. The new smartwatches are independent, smart, and as powerful as smartphones. They are designed to make everyday life more convenient than before,” said Kevin Ho, Chief Operating Officer of Huawei Consumer BG.

“Health and fitness monitoring has always been one of our wearables’ core strengths and this time, we are including skin temperature detection, handwashing, and fall detection to offer a more complete feature set for users to take better control of their own health.”

Design:

Huawei Watch 3 series continues the tradition of new and interesting design schemes powered by Huawei’s research development to make the wearable more comfortable while wearing and easier while operating.

For example, the new 1.4-inch large display with curved 3D glass provides faster and smoother finger movement on the touch screen. While the stainless steel watch provides an elegant look that keeps the watch simmering.

3D Crown and HarmonyOS:

There’s a new unique hardware feature on the Huawei Watch 3 and it’s the 3D rotating crown as it can provide tactile feedback. While the new HarmonyOS user interface provides more opportunity for the user to play all along using the grid launcher app menu.

The new HarmonyOS user interface works seamlessly with the 3D rotating crown and delivers a smoother and more intuitive user experience.

New themes and Watch faces:

Huawei Watch 3 series comes offers a number of new watch face and themes including technology, gaming, DIY, and short videos, the watch faces can be mixed and matched with fluoroelastomer, nylon, leather, stainless steel, and titanium straps to create the perfect accessory to go with any outfit.

E-SIM:

Huawei Watch 3 is a revolutionary device, and its independent hardware allows it to support standalone connectivity. By activating the eSIM service on their smartphones, users can share the phone number as well as voice and data plans between their smartphone and smartwatch.

Users can also answer incoming MeeTime2 calls on either device simply by tapping the notification on the device of their choice.

Furthermore, Huawei Watch 3 series comes with pre-installed AppGallery, which allows users to download third-party applications right at their fingertips.

Huawei Watch 3 series is a powerful smart wearable device that has an entire health monitoring system, the watch offers over 100 workout modes, skin temperature detection4 with the new high-precision temperature sensor, fall detection, an SOS alert. Coupled with health monitoring features such as heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and pressure.

Huawei has finally launched the detachable Huawei Watch GT Cyber in the global market, it has a unique design with a separate watch face mechanism.

Mexico is the first country in the global market to get the Huawei Watch GT Cyber for the people and it is priced at 5699 pesos. However, under a pre-sale offer, customers can take benefit of the gifts and discounts.

According to the information, the Huawei Watch GT Cyber pre-sale starts from February 6 to February 13, 2023, with a 100 pesos pre-sale deposit. While the first sale is scheduled for February 13, followed by the shipments.

It’s been two long years of the Huawei Watch 3 series launch and it seems like Huawei has finally begun the preparations for the upcoming Huawei Watch 4 lineup, as its codename is now leaked.

Huawei Watch series recently completed the WiFi certification with the codename ARC (Arch) and MDS (Medusa) for Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro respectively. However, there are no specifications or details available about any of these models at the moment.

Past leaks:

A few days ago, a mysterious watch model appeared on the Huawei Health app with AOD-B19, which is likely to be a brand new smartwatch lineup but none of the information has been confirmed from the official channel so far.

Looking at the fact that Huawei Watch 3 series has some first-time technologies in smartwatches, we are expecting a better battery life with the upcoming duo.
