On Monday, Turkey is hit by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake, destroying homes and leaving thousands wounded and homeless. As of today, over 17000 people had died in Turkey, surpassing the record of the last decade in the country. This earthquake has now made its place in the most deadly disasters of the century surpassing the 2011 tsunami in Japan.

Turk Telecom has a vast consumer base in Turkey, counting over 14.1 million broadband connections by the end of September 2021. Telecom has seen fiber connection subscribers rising 67 percent to 8.8 million in the first nine months of last year. On the other hand, Turk Telekom has seen that the mobile consumer base has grown to 23.9 million.

This is a huge user base and this partnership will open a new path for development in 5G for both firms.

“Türk Telekom has been their strategic partner “from the beginning of their Turkey journey. As part of their 5G collaboration, the two companies initially focus on smart agricultural applications and games, according to the MoU.” Said Jason Lee, CEO of Huawei Turkey.

According to the information, Huawei has positioned one of its 19 research and development centers on the globe in Turkey and they have employed more than 750 engineers there. Ericsson has also established a research and development center in Turkey.

Türk Telekon CEO Ümit Önal said that 5G solutions are needed particularly in areas of transportation, health, education, agriculture, entertainment, and urbanization.

According to Huaweiailesi, Huawei has started expanding EMUI 12 stable update rollout for Huawei P40 and P40 Pro users in Turkey. Now, the Huawei P40 series can install the latest EMUI 12 version without participating in the Beta activity.

The new information reveals that the Huawei P40 series stable EMUI 12 update arrives with version 12.0.0.218 and a massive update package size of 4.92GB in Turkey. However, the update size is worth it because it brings a big list of feature that provides a next-level user experience.

If you are Huawei P40 global smartphone owner, it is recommended you download and install the latest EMUI software version for a better user experience over EMUI 11.

How to update:

So, Huawei P40 series users, there are two ways to update your smartphone over the latest EMUI version via Phone Settings and My Huawei App

Via Settings:

First, go to the phone’s Settings, then tap on system & updates and click on software updates. Afterward, tap on the check for updates option. If an update is available, tap on the download option. Once the update package installation is done, install the update.

Via My Huawei App:

Open the My Huawei app, go to the update section, and tap on check for updates. If an update is available, a download option appeared on the screen. Tap on download options and wait for the update package to download. At last, install the latest update on the device.

Note:

The stable EMUI 12 update comes with big size installation package, so make sure that you have enough space on your smartphone to download the around 4GB update and keep your device charged at least 50%. Also, we recommend you use a WiFi connection.
