Huawei planned to test new HarmonyOS features on MatePad Pro tablet, starts recruitment
Recently, Huawei has opened new slots of HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta testing for the recently launched Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 2021. This is one of the first tablets to come with a pre-installed HarmonyOS 2 operating system.
Post recruitment, the company will deliver several beta test builds to prepare for stable rollout. HarmonyOS 2 provides a versatile and all-scenario intelligent user experience with its distributed capabilities. And it brings numerous new features that include a brand new home screen, service widgets, control panel, collaborative security, and more.
Here is one interesting thing that the MatePad Pro 10.8 was launched with HM OS but still Huawei planning to test new features for this tablet via HarmonyOS 2.0 beta testing program. At the moment, there is no information available about the new features that will make their way to these models but the company will reveal them as soon the beta process finalizes.

According to the information, Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 in China is launched at 1299 yuan for the 4GB version and 1499 yuan for the 6GB version. Huawei is rolling out HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 software update for two tablets – MatePad 11 and MatePad Pro 10.8. This update comes with new improvements for these large-screen devices.
Huawei is rolling out HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 for MatePad 11, upgrading from HarmonyOS 3.0.0.190/163. While on the other hand, Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 is getting HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 upgrading from HarmonyOS 3.0.0.163. Below you can check the eligible tablet models to get a new software update.
